Global fitness brand Zumba has licensed K-pop girl group NMIXX’s song “RICO” and launched official Zumba choreography using the track across its worldwide classes. At an in-person class in Gangnam, Seoul, the new routine was revealed and NMIXX made a surprise appearance, energizing participants as Zumba’s high-energy moves met K-pop dynamism. Zumba says the collaboration aims to blend K-pop energy to expand connections with Korean consumers and attract younger people to fitness through music and dance. Founded in 2001 in the U.S. (Miami), Zumba combines rhythms like salsa, hip-hop, merengue, and reggaeton and is known for its party-like workouts that can burn up to about 1,000 calories per hour.
