The City of Seoul has announced a project to revitalize Dongdaemun's fashion district, which has been struggling due to changing consumer trends and low-cost Chinese raw materials. The 'Dongdaemun K-Fashion Brand Development' initiative aims to support 90 local designers and merchants through branding coaching, prototype production, influencer marketing, and participation in exhibitions to meet domestic and international buyers. The project continues from last year's pilot phase and aims to highlight the potential of Dongdaemun fashion in the global market. Applications are open until the 17th of this month for interested parties.
