Everland, operated by Samsung C&T’s resort division, is restarting major outdoor attractions after the winter break. T-Express, the park’s signature wooden roller coaster, reopens on Feb 14. The 3-minute ride reaches speeds up to 104 km/h, drops 56 m at a 77-degree angle, and features 12 moments of weightlessness, making it a top thrill attraction. First-person on-ride footage posted on Everland’s Instagram and YouTube stirred excitement among visitors. Safety checks were conducted daily, including rail inspections up to 56 m high, train inspections, and test runs. Water rides Amazon Express (a circular boat ride on a 580 m channel) and Thunder Falls (a ~6-minute rafting course with a 20 m big drop and backdrop) will resume on Feb 21. Opening dates may change due to weather, so visitors should check Everland’s website before visiting. Also running in February is Everland’s “Fortune Market,” part of its new monthly “Whatever” series offering rotating themed events.
