The Hong Kong Tourism Board teamed up with YouTuber and singer Shaun (션) and his running crew "Unknown Crew" to release a video showcasing Hong Kong as an "outdoor destination" where trails and city routes connect. The episode, published on Shaun’s channel, starts at Dragon’s Back (a ridge trail named for its dragon-like shape) and moves to Big Wave Bay (coastal views), then highlights flat harborfront city runs in Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai along Victoria Harbour. The content also features the 2026 Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, which drew about 74,000 runners to its mixed urban, elevated road and tunnel course. The Tourism Board offers themed outdoor travel guides—hiking, beach activities, and island hopping—on its website to help visitors plan. The collaboration aims to reinforce Hong Kong’s image as an accessible outdoor playground where mountains, sea, and skyscrapers are close together.
