Gimhae Gaya Theme Park will hold a special Lunar New Year event called “Red Horse, Run into the New Year” from Feb 14–18. The park offers family-friendly programs including traditional folk games, daily magic balloon shows, and outdoor performances — on Feb 16 the traditional arts troupe “Heung” and on Feb 17 the fusion gugak (Korean traditional music) group “Cheorat.” Seasonal discounts up to 12% are available for visitors born in the Year of the Horse and for foreign residents in Korea on major packages from Feb 14 through March 2 (Jeongwol Daeboreum, the first full moon day). Attractions open during the holiday include a large snow tubing area with seven lanes, a 22m-high “Mega Extreme” bike-and-mission experience, and the ongoing “Painters of Gaya Kingdom” show. The park encourages families to enjoy the energetic spirit of the Red Horse year together.
