Actor Park Jeong-min's return to the stage in the play 'Life of Pi' was abruptly canceled five minutes before curtain at Seoul's GS Art Center due to a sudden technical failure in lighting equipment. The production company said they attempted repairs but cancelled the performance for safety reasons. They inspected and fixed the issue by the next morning and scheduled an extra performance with the same cast on the 16th at 7:30 PM. Ticket holders can keep their same seats and will receive 10% of the ticket price as compensation; attendees who do not wish to attend the rescheduled show may get a 110% refund. Park apologized on social media (SNS), expressing regret for disappointed audience members and hoping the additional performance offers some comfort.
