JIMFF’s K-POP Concert Program Wins Government Support, Secures ₩200M

The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) announced that its program “JIMFF One Summer Night with K-POP Season 2” was selected for the Korea Tourism Organization’s 2026 K-POP concert support project, securing 200 million won in national funding. Four local governments’ performances were chosen from 14 applicants nationwide. JIMFF plans to use the grant to present a hybrid K-POP concert and music film festival experience that highlights the festival’s music programming strengths and K-POP’s global appeal. JIMFF Executive Director Jang Hang-joon said the initiative will offer unforgettable experiences to visitors to Jecheon. (K-POP: Korea’s popular music genre)
