LIE Presents High-Functioning, Elegant Ski Mountaineering at 2026 FW Seoul Fashion Week

At 2026 FW Seoul Fashion Week held Feb 3–8 at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), Korean brand LIE (Life Is an Expression) unveiled a ski mountaineering collection in collaboration with premium outdoor label Insus. The collection blends high-performance outdoor fabrics—windproof, waterproof, and mesh—with refined ready-to-wear silhouettes: slim, ski-suit-inspired layering, structured voluminous outerwear, and dynamic curved and straight paneling suggesting speed. The palette drew from snowy alpine landscapes (matte off-white, black, gray, brown) with deep forest greens and navy as restrained accents. Crafts and sustainability were highlighted through macramé techniques and upcycled materials by artist Jeong Yoon-hee, emphasizing both craftsmanship and eco-consciousness. Designer Lee Cheong-cheong described the line as modular and technical—bags, functional accessories, and apparel—offering a new high-end athleisure aesthetic that marries precision functionality with romantic, dynamic silhouettes.
