Art Exhibition Explores Lost Parts and New Beginnings

Artist Kang Seo-hyeon presents her solo exhibition 'Lost...' which opens on the 5th of this month at Space Willing N Dealing in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The exhibition is inspired by the Italian novel 'The Cloven Viscount' by Italo Calvino, depicting scenes and characters influenced by the story. In the novel, the protagonist Medardo loses much of his body due to a war explosion but finds deeper possibilities in his remaining half. Kang explores themes of duality and transformation through ceramic artworks and paintings, inviting viewers to consider diverse potentials within absence. The exhibition runs until the 30th.
