Kumho Resort is rolling out festive family-friendly events for the Lunar New Year across four locations (Tongyeong, Hwasun, Seorak, Jeju). A “Traditional Games Fair” (3-step tuho, jegichagi, and yutnori) with mission challenges and prizes will run on selected dates during the holiday. Site-specific attractions include Hwasun’s indoor hot-spring water park “Aqquana” bubble parties, and Tongyeong Marina Resort’s bowling “One-Shot One-Kill” challenge that waives game fees for a first-ball strike. Kumho Jeju Resort will run a scratch-lottery promotion offering upgrades, free breakfast and Aquaana passes, and discounts for guests checking in Feb 13–19.
Kumho Jeju also opens a new cafe “Damda” and gift shop “Sorang” on Feb 13. Damda features Delta Gold coffee and Portuguese-style egg tarts from Nutriva, plus Jeju-inspired brunch items like the “Baengnokdam” platter (Baengnokdam is the crater lake atop Hallasan). Opening perks include 50% off americanos for two days, picnic cooler bags for the first 100 purchases over 50,000 KRW, and a lucky draw with room and facility discounts through February.
Kumho Resort is promoting up to 30% off bookings (excluding Lunar New Year dates) for stays through April 30 for newsletter subscribers. For full details, visit the Kumho Resort official website.
