Paradise Reports 2023 Operating Profit Up 14.9% to KRW 156.3 Billion

Paradise Co. announced operating profit of KRW 156.3 billion for last year, up 14.9% year-on-year, with revenue rising 7.2% to KRW 1.1499 trillion. Net profit increased 30.1% to KRW 144.1 billion. In Q4, revenue reached KRW 293.9 billion (up 10.5% YoY) but operating profit fell 14% to KRW 16.7 billion. The company said stronger sales at Paradise City casino and Hotel Busan (부산) boosted revenue, while higher personnel costs — including headcount expansion and incentive payments — and extra marketing spending weighed on quarterly operating profit.
