Everland will celebrate the Lunar New Year with a month-long Fortune Market featuring traditional games, cultural experiences, and festive food. Staff in hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) will greet guests while character photo zones show Lenie & Friends riding a red horse. Visitors can get free fortune readings (saju and tarot) and enjoy special hanbok photo sessions twice daily. A folk-play zone at Carnival Square offers yutnori, tuho, ttakji, biseokchigi, and jegichagi—traditional Korean games—for all ages. Hanbok-wearing guests receive discounted admission and “Lucky Carrot Cards” with points usable like cash on certain rides; foreign visitors wearing their countries’ traditional dress get special benefits through Jan 22. Fortune-themed goods (bokjumeoni, hanbok panda plush) come with commemorative coins redeemable for charms or badges. Restaurants feature various tteokguk (rice cake soup) dishes—such as five-colored rib tteokguk and spicy jjambbong tteokguk—while animal talks include fortune-cookie giveaways and a special Korean tiger badge for the first 2,026 participants at Tiger Valley.
