Travel operator Modetour is expanding offerings to nearby short-haul destinations such as Japan, China and Vietnam, highlighting that park golf’s low physical demand and flexible scheduling suit older players and club groups. Demand rose steadily after mid-2024, with summer interest focusing on Hokkaido and Weihai (웨이하이) and winter demand shifting to Southeast Asian spots like Chiang Mai and Pattaya. New mixed itineraries let travelers play unlimited rounds at courses like Yugongdo (유공도) near Weihai while using afternoons for tourism or hot springs and local cuisine. A new Fukuoka 3-day package features central city lodging and a local driving guide so groups can fit rounds and sightseeing into a short stay.
