The 'Grow and Glow Festival' children's art exhibition ran from Feb. 1–4 at Chuncheon Culture Space Yeok. Organized by Grow and Glow (director Kim Da-in), an emotional arts education program for children, the show gathered artworks created as students explored and expressed feelings during class. Laid out under three themes—Grow, Glow, and And—the exhibition emphasized recognizing and expressing emotions over technical skill. In the Grow section, elementary students who watched the film Inside Out created unique character posters representing an emotion they felt. The Glow area featured abstract impressions of light—candlelight, sunset, sunlight on the walk to school—rendered as layers of color rather than realistic scenes. The And space displayed pieces children chose to show again, revealing shifts in their perspectives over time. Families attended and children often explained their works and intentions in person. (Grow and Glow: name of the local emotional arts education program)
