Lotte GRS opened 'Plating T1 A/S' at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1, completing its lineup of five Plating food courts across the airport. The new food court seats 474 (the largest single capacity among Incheon airport food courts) and occupies about 434 pyeong (Korean unit of area). Designed around the concept “Korean lines blooming like flowers,” the space modernly interprets traditional Korean elements—such as the curves of hanbok (traditional Korean dress), the texture of stone walls, and tiled roof structures—to showcase Korean aesthetics. The venue operates four in-house brands offering a mix of Korean dishes (kimchi jjigae, sundubu jjigae, yangji gomtang), snack-style foods (tteokbokki in earthenware, topped kimbap), and Asian cuisine. LotteGRS now runs 49 stores at Incheon Airport and reports strong concession sales growth, with recent Plating openings exceeding initial sales targets. The company says it will continue expanding its concession business to strengthen its restaurant franchise presence.
