KyoBo Bookstore’s VORA Hosts February Lecture Series Featuring Science, Literature and Music

Seoul’s Kyobo Bookstore is running a month-long lecture program through its VORA community at the Gwanghwamun Kyobo Building Daesan Hall covering investment, humanities, classics and science. Highlights: Feb 4 – Professor Kim Hak-ju, author of Ten-Bagger Portfolio, analyzes new technologies such as AI and quantum computing and shares investment views on stocks that could grow tenfold in three years; Feb 11 – writer and personal branding planner Lee Jeong-hoon speaks on relationships and life in “It’s Okay to Be Bad at Comforting”; Feb 22 – a ticketed “VORA Show” pairs author Song Gil-young’s talk “The Posture of the Lightweight Civilized” with pianist Moon A-ram’s performance; Feb 24 – reporter and author Lee Da-hye explains how to enjoy classics with film and music, moderated by novelist Cheon Sun-ran; March 1 – a family “VORA Kids” session features physicist Kim Sang-wook presenting “Energy, the Force That Moves the World” with child-friendly examples. VORA Talk sessions are free (capacity 350), VORA Show costs 30,000 won, and VORA Kids 20,000 won. Kyobo says it will continue diverse programming for all ages in 2026.
