Blackpink member Rosé opened the 68th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles alongside Bruno Mars. Backed by a live band, Rosé performed her hit “APT.” while the front-row audience jumped and joined in a loud sing-along of the repeated chorus. Onstage she danced energetically and shared a playful cheek kiss with Bruno Mars, drawing warm reactions from other stars including Billie Eilish. Rosé’s “APT.” is nominated in three major categories—Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance—but did not win the latter. Also performing was HYBE’s global K-pop girl group CATS EYE, who delivered a powerful stage during the Best New Artist showcase, though the newcomer trophy went to Olivia Dean.
