Ediya Coffee will operate five cafés inside the National Museum of Korea (국립중앙박물관) starting in March after winning a contract with the National Museum Cultural Foundation. The locations include two former Tous les Jours/Twosome Place sites and three other museum café spaces (total area 288.35 m²). The museum drew over 6.5 million visitors last year, becoming a major cultural and tourist hub, so the café spots are seen as valuable brand and revenue locations. Ediya plans to tailor each outlet’s concept and services to match visitor flows and the museum’s Korean cultural atmosphere, drawing on its experience running cafés at other national museums (국립대구박물관, 국립경주박물관) and offering specialized menus and spaces. The move is expected to boost foot traffic and sales, especially as museum goods (굿즈) gain popularity among younger visitors.
