Seong Hee-seung’s solo show “Eternal Becoming” at Hakgojae Gallery (Seongno-gu, Seoul) fills canvases with layered, repeated triangles that form star motifs. The work explores completion and expansion, decay and reconstruction on a single plane, inviting viewers to imagine beyond the frame. Runs through Feb. 7. Kim Yeon-sik’s AI art special exhibition “Poet Yun Dong-ju, Writing and Singing” at Gallery Monalisa Sanchon (Seongno-gu, Seoul) presents over 300 AI-generated pieces based on 116 poems by Yun Dong-ju, including “Counting the Stars.” The artist prompted a generative AI to produce “blue-toned surrealist paintings,” then paired selected outputs with installations that describe the poem contents; he calls AI a tool that broadens his ways of engaging with poetry. Runs through Feb. 23.
