Chloris, a Korean tea brand, has reopened its Yeoksam-dong (a neighborhood in Seoul) location as the Chloris Tea Museum, a flagship space showcasing the brand’s tea heritage and operations. The redesigned shop goes beyond a typical café with zones including a Tea Lab, Tea Library, and Tea Experience Zone for extraction, blending, tasting, and archive browsing. The Tea Library houses curated tea books and archival materials, while the Experience Zone lets visitors compare and sample various teas. The interior features low lighting, restrained colors, spacious seating, and displays of ceramics, tea ware, and vintage objects to immerse guests in tea culture. To celebrate the opening, Chloris launched a limited “Classic Afternoon Tea Plate” (scones, savory sandwiches, and desserts) offered in a special promotion. Chloris, known for introducing black and blended teas to Korea since the early 2000s, aims to present tea as a cultural experience rather than just a beverage.
