Sejong City Cultural Tourism Foundation Appoints Han Kyung-ah as Head of Tourism Projects

Sejong City, recently named Korea’s most livable city and aiming to become a tourism hub, has hired tourism expert Han Kyung-ah as Head of Tourism Projects at the Sejong City Cultural Tourism Foundation (appointed Feb 2). Han holds a Ph.D. in tourism (tourism학박사) and graduated from Ewha Womans University, earning her doctorate from Kyonggi University. Previously she served as Secretary General of the Korea Visit Year Committee (한국방문의해위원회), where she led campaigns like the Korea Grand Sale (코리아그랜드세일) and coordinated public–private tourism initiatives and policy linkage. The foundation said Han will strengthen tourism expertise, develop city-specific tourism projects, and lead strategic efforts to boost Sejong’s regional tourism competitiveness.
