Construction Begins for Seomjingang Cable Car Linking Gury-eup and Osan

Gurye County in South Jeolla Province will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on March 7 to kick off the Seomjingang cable car project. The cable car will connect Osan Saseongam and Gury-eup over 2.34 km, built in cooperation with private operator Dow, with an estimated cost of about 50 billion won (approx. USD 37 million). Groundwork and plans will be announced at the ceremony, with major construction expected to start in 2027; a final completion date has not been set.
