GKL’s disabled fencing team held one-point lessons at Daejeon University from Jan. 27–30 to support disabled athletes and regional sports development. Twenty-six participants — five local disabled fencers and 19 university team members — received basic technique training, individual coaching, tactical drills, and practice matches. Coaches also shared match operation know-how and international competition experience. Founded in May 2016 to promote disabled sports and healthier athletic environments, the team is based in Sejong Special Self-Governing City and led by coach Park Sang-min. GKL president Yoon Doo-hyun pledged continued efforts to fulfill the state-owned company’s social responsibilities and create social value through disabled sports and community cooperation.
