The National Gugak Center (National Center for Korean Traditional Music) previewed its "Game Sound Series" on Feb. 12 at the center's Pungnyu Sarangbang (performance room). Arrangers Yang Seunghwan and Lee Jisu prepared eight tracks—four each—from two game IPs, performed by the Gugak Center's Creative Orchestra. The program, hosted by Jung Solim, featured short explanations of arranging intentions followed by listening and Q&A. Selections include music from the mobile/3D cinematic title "Solo Leveling: ARISE" (promoted as "ARISE"), highlighted for its console-like combat feel and cross‑media marketing, and "P's False: Overture," a DLC expansion with piano-and-strings gothic-horror OST used to shape boss‑fight tension. The project reflects the center's goal of "today's creations becoming tomorrow's tradition," expanding game sound textures through gugak (traditional Korean music) idioms.
