Two Men, One Novel: Musical 'The Tale April Fools' Returns to Seoul

A new season of the two-person musical 'The Tale April Fools' opens March 24–June 7 at YES24 Stage 2 in Jongno, Seoul. Based on the true 1891 authorship dispute over the novel 'The Vampyre' between Romantic poet Lord George Gordon Byron and his physician-aspiring-writer John William Polidori, the production explores the psychological power play around literary copyright. The cast features multiple actors alternating in the roles of Polidori and Byron, and the creative team includes director Kim Min-jung, playwright Kim Ji-sik, and acclaimed set designer Park Sang-bong. The producer says the show emphasizes delicate psychological portrayal and strong character sync with the performers. (Jongno is a central district in Seoul; YES24 Stage is a well-known small theater venue.)
