Director Jung Koo-ho Wins Bessies Award

Jung Koo-ho, director of Seoul City Dance Company’s One Dance (Ilmu), won the Outstanding Choreographer·Creator award at the New York Dance & Performance Awards (Bessies). Founded in 1983, the Bessies are chosen annually by a New York panel of artists, producers, and critics to honor innovative achievements in performances staged in the city. After a press conference at Sejong Center’s Artist Lounge in Jongno-gu, Seoul, Jung photographed reporters with his smartphone to capture the moment.
