Shinsegae International announced an organizational shift on its 30th anniversary, pledging to accelerate growth through overseas market expansion, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and integrated strategies. CEO Kim Deok-joo said this year marks a turning point to implement a strategic roadmap and cultural reforms. The company plans aggressive retail network expansion and localized marketing in Europe, the U.S., Japan, China, and Southeast Asia led by brands such as Yeonjak (연작), Vidivici (비디비치), and Amuse (어뮤즈). It will also pursue external growth via M&A and equity investments, while the cosmetics division explores new categories like beauty devices and boosters to find fresh opportunities.
