The Association of National Tourism Offices in Korea (ANTOR) held its first monthly meeting of 2026 on Jan. 22 at Boco Seoul Myeongdong, marking the first official event under the 16th executive team. Newly elected president Kim Yun-ho (Hong Kong Tourism Office Korea) and vice president Cho Jin-ha (Tourism Australia Korea) joined other member representatives to discuss ANTOR’s operating direction, activity plans for 2026, and collaboration with the Korean tourism industry. After the meeting, members conducted an inspection tour of the venue to promote networking. Founded in 1992, ANTOR is a non-profit consortium of about 20 foreign tourism offices in Korea (including Hong Kong, Australia, and Macau) that exchanges information on the Korean tourism market and fosters cooperation among members. President Kim emphasized ANTOR’s growing role in the era of 30 million outbound travelers and called for the association to evolve as an open, member-centered platform.
