Theater production 'The Hymn of Death' unveiled two new posters ahead of its January 30, 2026 opening at Sejong Center M Theatre. One poster emphasizes four actors portraying the two leads—Seo Yea-ji and Jeon So-min as soprano Yun Sim-deok, Park Eun-seok and Kwak Si-yang as playwright Kim Woo-jin—highlighting the play’s focus on characters’ inner choices rather than only its tragic ending. A silhouette poster centers on Yun Sim-deok as a person who consciously chose her life and relationships. The revival, based on a 1990 original and a sold-out 2025 run at LG Art Center Seoul, shifts to a more intimate exploration of “the process of choice” and agency, using cinematic video transitions and live piano. Supporting roles include Kim Ryeo-eun and Jin So-yeon as pioneering painter Na Hye-seok, Park Seon-ho and Kim Geon-ho as musician Hong Nan-pa, and others depicting the period’s tensions. The production runs Jan 30–Mar 2, 2026, with tickets on NOL Ticket and the Sejong Center website; a limited opening time sale is underway.
