South Korea’s Space Agency dispatched a public-private delegation to the United States to help 14 domestic space companies enter the U.S. market. Led by Vice Administrator Noh Kyung-won, the mission aims to build networks and practical cooperation with U.S. government and industry players in the newspace era. The delegation’s itinerary includes visits to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Blue Origin’s large New Glenn rocket assembly facility, SpaceX production sites, and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Participants inspected U.S. launch operations, reusable rocket manufacturing processes, and advanced deep-space exploration facilities, and held meetings with local experts and Korean scientists to discuss technology levels, regulatory procedures, and possible technical collaborations. The Space Agency expects the trip to create touchpoints between Korean technology and U.S. demand and to expand international cooperation so private firms can become key global partners.
