The event, part of the 'Sejong Inspiration' series, sold out quickly and combined music, poetry readings, and a panel discussion with poets and ballet dancers, creating a quiet, participatory atmosphere rather than a traditional passive concert. This approach follows global trends to make theaters more open and welcoming (e.g., Royal Opera House's 'Open Up') by turning performance venues into places to linger, think, and personally experience the stage. Sejong Center plans more immersive events—rooftop tours, walk-about concerts, backstage/house tours for foreign visitors—aimed at lowering the threshold for theatergoing and inviting audiences to be active participants rather than just spectators.
