Minister Song Mi-ryeong Meets Korean Cuisine Industry

Agriculture Minister Song Mi-ryeong met with representatives at the Korean Food Promotion Institute on Jan. 26 to discuss establishing a dedicated culinary education institution called a Sura School (수라학교) and ways to expand use of domestic ingredients such as soybeans. The talks focused on strengthening Korean cuisine education and increasing demand for locally produced food to support the industry and farmers.
