The National Gyeongju Museum will hold monthly “Curator Talks” on the last Wednesday at 5 PM from Feb. 28 to Dec. 2. Museum curators and researchers will present stories behind artifacts and exhibitions. The opening talk on Feb. 28 features Director Yoon Sang-deok on Hwangnamdaechong (the largest Silla tomb), known for finds like gold crowns, gold belts, and glassware from its north and south mounds. Upcoming sessions will cover topics such as Silla Avalokitesvara statues, iron, the Hwangryongsa wooden pagoda reliquary exhibition in June, and the reopening of the children’s museum in October. Visitors who attend seven or more sessions will receive a small souvenir. Talks are free and open without reservation; more information is on the museum website and SNS.
