Goesan County Offers Incentives to Travel Agencies for Group Tours

Goesan County in Chungcheongbuk-do will pay incentives to travel agencies that bring group tourists to the area to boost local spending and revitalize businesses and tourism. Eligible agencies are those that bring groups to major local attractions or festivals. Incentive amounts vary by tour type: day trips (10,000 won per person), overnight stays (20,000 won per person), and train tours (450,000–600,000 won per group). Duplicate subsidies for the same travel product are not allowed. The county says it will continue policies to attract tourism that help the local economy. (Goesan Sanmaki Old Road and Yeonha Suspension Cloud Bridge are local attractions.)
