As the new year begins, South Korea’s ‘Reset Core’ trend—resetting body and mind through new routines, record-keeping, organization, and healing—has rapidly grown. Data from Kakao Style’s ZigZag platform shows related searches between Jan 1–21 jumped as much as sevenfold year-on-year. Popular categories include diaries (searches +173%, sales +32%), calendars (+43%), and household ledgers (+37%, sales +102%). Healing items to relieve stress also spiked: incense searches (+659%, sales +215%), heated eye masks (+128%), and stress balls (+79%). Organizing products saw steep increases too: living box searches rose 446%, jewelry organizers +145%, and drawers +109%. Brands focused on storage and stationery benefited — Gakyu’s sales surged 387%, Edgeyoung +83%, Iconic Design +32%, and Roed +33%. Kakao Style says it will expand selections across stationery, healing items, and storage to meet growing demand. (ZigZag: a Korean fashion-commerce platform)
