Korean athleisure brands are expanding product lines and growing fast in overseas markets despite a weak domestic fashion sector. Andar (known for Jeon Ji-hyun’s yoga wear) and Jeximix (building a fitness image via TV personality Dex) posted record results last year by adding running apparel and menswear. Andar’s revenue jumped over 25% to the 300 billion won range, with running product sales up 467% and notable overseas sales—12 billion won in Singapore in one month and 20 billion won online in Japan. Jeximix also hit its highest sales since founding, boosted by running items and Japan growth; its Japanese unit logged 11.9 billion won through Q3 and saw over 72% year-on-year growth in November.
