Foreign Tourists Enjoy Hwacheon Mountain Trout Festival

The Hwacheon Sancheoneo (mountain trout) Festival, one of South Korea’s leading winter events, is in full swing along the Hwacheoncheon stream in Hwacheon County, Gangwon Province. On January 24, foreign visitors were seen taking commemorative photos at the fishing site. Since opening on January 10, the festival has attracted more than one million cumulative visitors as of the same day.
