With a strong start to the stock market this year, Korean readers have flocked to investment books. Yes24’s weekly overall bestseller for the third straight week is Lee Kwang-su’s “Stock Investment for Progress” (진보를 위한 주식투자). Morgan Housel’s new book “The Equation of Money” reached No. 4 within two weeks of publication. Other finance titles like “Park Gom-hee’s Pension Rich Class” and “Minimal Economic Study to Survive in the Age of Capitalism” also ranked high, reflecting a retail bullishness and personal finance craze. In literature, “Goethe Said Everything” and Kim Ae-ran’s “I Said Goodbye” remain popular, while picture book “Mom Became a Ghost!” and Choi Kang-rok’s “What It Means to Cook” made surprising comebacks on the charts.
