Ceragem, a South Korean medtech company, reported that a US randomized controlled trial (RCT) of its home spinal thermal massage device, the Master V collection, was published in the international neuroscience journal Frontiers in Neuroergonomics. The multinational study—led by NYU Langone and involving NYU Grossman School of Medicine, CUNY, and Ceragem Clinical—used a clinical-regulatory integrated design to reflect US device approval requirements. Results showed significant benefits for back pain: an average 47% pain reduction after a single 40-minute session, improved lumbar mobility, and faster perceived recovery. The paper is presented as scientific validation of Ceragem’s engine-based technology that senses spinal shape and delivers personalized stimulation and heat. Ceragem plans to expand collaborative clinical research with global medical centers and leverage these findings as clinical assets for international market entry. (RCT: Randomized Controlled Trial)
