Lotte Mart’s culture centers began spring semester registration on Jan. 22 at 59 locations nationwide, on a first-come, first-served basis. New this term is a 'Dubai chewy cookie (두쫀쿠) baking one-day class' offered at 50 centers (including Eunpyeong and Lotte Mall Suji) for a 10,000 won fee. The baking curriculum uses simple ingredients like marshmallows, cocoa powder and pistachios so children can join. In response to more early pick-ups from daycare, afternoon hands-on classes for infants have been expanded by about 20% from last winter; attendees in the 4–6 pm slot receive a 10,000 won Happy Hour discount coupon. Regular age‑tailored courses for 0–2 year olds are also available, with automated class suggestions based on a child’s birthdate — options include parent‑participation attachment programs and sensory play (0–12 months), physical development activities (13–24 months), and socialization and rule‑learning classes (25–36 months). From Jan. 22 to Feb. 6, registrants receive two 5,000 won discount coupons usable for online or offline class sign-ups.
