Artist Kim Min-jung’s solo exhibition 'Where Light Stayed' runs at Gallery Won in Wonju until the 29th. Using a sculptural language she calls 'transparent shells,' Kim records fleeting moments and traces of memory, transforming disappearance into a form of commemoration. Her vertical, monument-like pieces claim existence through absence, with delicate transparent flowers embodying inner unrest and evoking lingering memories. Kim describes the works as vessels of afterimages—attempts to hold onto what inevitably fades, and a personal language for facing life. Gallery Won continues open calls for contemporary works in painting, craft, photography, and sculpture; selected artists will exhibit for at least a week through June 30.
