Nordic Garden Life on Display: 'The Gardener Who Paints' Opens in Chuncheon

The Chuncheon Cultural Foundation opens a special exhibition, 'The Gardener Who Paints,' at Chuncheon Culture & Arts Center from April 22 to May 27. Featuring five Nordic artists—Armi Teva, Cristina Sitja Rubio, Leena Kisonen, Marika Maijala, and Satu Kettunen—the show explores gardens as restorative spaces and highlights Nordic ways of living in harmony with nature. The exhibition is part of a regional exhibition support program and carries messages of environmental care and coexistence. Visitors can join hands-on programs like 'Cut & Glue' to create paper gardens and a botanical illustration coloring activity. The opening ceremony is on April 22 at 11:00 AM.
