CJ Olive Young has partnered with Sephora to create a curated 'K-Beauty Zone' (a dedicated Korean-beauty section) on Sephora’s online and offline channels. The zone, launching in late 2024 across six regions — the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand — will feature up to 18 mostly small and indie Korean brands and about 80 products, with displays tailored by month and country trends. Olive Young said the initiative aims to lower global market entry barriers for high‑potential indie brands (중소·인디 브랜드) that lack the recognition of larger names. Olive Young already operates a global online store in over 60 countries and plans a first U.S. store in Pasadena, California. The partnership with Sephora is expected to expand distribution infrastructure and help Korean brands gain credibility in overseas markets.
