Compose Coffee Tops Satisfaction in Low‑Cost Coffee Chains Survey

South Korea’s Consumer Agency surveyed 1,600 customers who used low‑cost coffee chains at least three times monthly and found an average satisfaction score of 3.87 out of 5. Compose Coffee (컴포즈커피) ranked highest with 3.97, praised for menu quality, menu variety, store environment and staff service. MegamGC Coffee (메가MGC커피) scored 3.93, The Venti (더벤티) 3.86, and Paik’s Coffee (빽다방) 3.73. Consumers value reasonable price and menu fit most (37.2%), followed by taste (19.2%) and accessibility (18.1%). Reported complaints (6.2% of respondents) were mainly taste dissatisfaction (41.4%), sold‑out menu items (36.4%), and order failures due to kiosk or app errors (26.3%). The Consumer Agency urged chains to standardize coffee quality across stores and simplify and stabilize kiosk/app ordering.
