CJ Foodville’s bakery chain Tous Les Jours (Korean: 뚜레쥬르) is taking pre-orders for an ‘ALD1 Chocolate Fresh Cream Cake’ made in collaboration with K-pop rookie boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1). The cake layers include a black sponge and chocolate sponge filled with rich chocolate ganache, chocolate fresh cream and crispy chocolate balls. Each cake comes with a set of unreleased photo cards (one group card plus eight individual member cards) provided randomly. Pre-orders run through the Tous Les Jours app until Jan 28; adults aged 19+ who pre-order may be entered into a draw for signed prizes from the members. Pick-up is scheduled at designated stores from Feb 26 to Mar 2. The bakery plans more ALD1 products to follow. ALPHA DRIVE ONE, formed on Mnet’s survival show Boys Planet 2, debuted on Feb 12 with mini-album “EUPHORIA,” recording over 1.44 million first-week sales (초동) — the second-highest debut-week figure for a K-pop group.
