MyRealTrip analyzed over 3 million bookings from last year to reveal travel trends for 2025. About 1 million were flights, with top flight destinations being Jeju (제주), Fukuoka (후쿠오카, Japan), Osaka (오사카, Japan), Tokyo (도쿄, Japan) and Busan (부산) — places favored for accessibility and repeat visits. Tours and tickets made up roughly 2 million bookings, highlighting growing demand for local experiences; popular cities for experiences included Osaka, Tokyo, Paris, Taipei (타이베이), and Fukuoka. Accommodation purchases reached about 400,000 (around 800,000 nights), led by Jeju, Incheon (인천), Osaka, Seoul (서울), and Paris, showing stronger interest in domestic “ho-kangs” (호캉스, hotel staycations) and urban city stays abroad. Rapidly growing overseas destinations included Shanghai (上海, China), Nagoya (나고야, Japan), Bali (Indonesia), Porto (포르투갈), and Macau (澳門, China). MyRealTrip — launched in 2012 as a guided-tour marketplace — has grown into a one-stop travel platform with 10 million cumulative users and 5 million monthly active users. The company plans to expand airline and partner collaborations, strengthen accommodation offerings, and focus on inbound business to capitalize on K-culture-driven demand (K-컬처, Korean pop culture).
