Italian contemporary brand Parajumpers supported world-renowned mountaineer Hari Budha Magar in completing the Seven Summits, finishing with the ascent of Mount Vinson in Antarctica on January 6, 2026. Magar, the first double above-knee amputee (양측 무릎 위 절단) to hold this record, climbed Everest, Kilimanjaro, Denali, Mont Blanc, Aconcagua, Puncak Jaya, and Vinson. The Vinson climb followed years of preparation and a grueling three-day push in temperatures down to -25°C, testing physical endurance, mental strength, and prosthetic limits. Parajumpers developed a custom 3-piece summit suit tailored to his needs, emphasizing function, comfort, and durability. Magar, who lost both legs in a 2010 IED incident while serving with the Gurkha (구르카) unit, says his journey is meant to challenge perceptions about disability and inspire others to face their own “mountains.” Parajumpers praised his courage and dedication in this historic achievement.
