Online fashion platform Zigzag (지그재그) reports an unexpected winter spike in revealing designs among women in their 20s–30s. From Dec 14–Jan 13, searches for one-shoulder styles rose 263% year‑on‑year and transactions grew 229%. One-shoulder sweatshirts saw especially dramatic demand (approx. 2,291% increase). Off-shoulder items (맨투맨, knit, blouses) also saw strong sales growth. Innerwear trends shifted too: sales of off-shoulder bras, stick-on bras (누브라), and tube tops increased as customers sought seamless looks. Bottoms shortened as well—shorts and thick-material winter shorts (e.g., wool shorts, knit shorts) recorded big gains, with wool shorts up over 1,100%. Analysts cite volatile winter temperatures and improved outerwear insulation (allowing lighter inner layers) as drivers of the trend, and Zigzag says seasonal style rules are changing rapidly.
