HanaTour’s purchase data from Jan–Nov last year shows Japan, Vietnam and China were the top three repeat-visit countries. Travelers are shifting from major hubs (e.g., Tokyo, Da Nang) to lesser-known regional cities and resorts—so-called “Nth trips” that seek new experiences within familiar destinations. One customer traveled abroad 21 times in the year, using products for nine regions including the US, Japan and Vietnam. Among package tours, the most repurchased product was a 2-day trip to Tsushima (Daemado) thanks to easy ferry access from Busan, low cost and short leave required. Premium products also showed high loyalty: 65% of customers who bought products priced over 10 million KRW repurchased the next year. HanaTour’s customer satisfaction survey (HCSI) of HanaPack 2.0 users found 88% intended to reuse the brand. Online membership grew 10.2% to 9.2 million, nearing 10 million. HanaTour says satisfying travel experiences drive repeat visits, and it will focus on tailored products and services to strengthen loyalty.
