South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will hire 160 youth interns for around five months (Mar 3–Aug 7) across 12 areas including administration, PR, air traffic control, and IT. Applicants aged 19–34 can apply; the ministry will use an open hiring approach that excludes quantitative credentials like majors, certificates, or language scores, and instead evaluates policy interest and motivation through a written ‘policy proposal’ (정책제안서). Applications run from Jan 19–29 via the youth talent database, with final results announced on Feb 23. Officials say the program, now in its fourth year, offers hands-on public-sector experience and exposure to future industries such as urban air mobility (UAM).
